Trees No More is proud to boast that we RECYCLE 100% of the tree and landscape waste we produce each year!  Tree branches are chipped/shredded into free mulch for garden beds & landscape walking paths, logs that are not kept for firewood sales are cut into manageable sizes & given away for free, and any remaining mixed leafy refuse is piled away until it decomposes and then given away as garden compost or fill dirt.

Requirements:

Free Recycled Wood Chips:

• Must take a full dump truck load, ranging between 10- and 15-yards. Except in special cases, we are unable to provide smaller loads.  (Note that a typical pickup bed holds just 1-yard, more or less!)
• Must be dumped in an accessible location off to one side of your driveway.  Our vehicle's tires cannot leave the pavement.  We do always try to leave room for cars to be parked out in the meantime however.
• Delivery cannot be scheduled unfortunately, and timeframe can vary greatly depending on our backlog and areas we happen to be working in.  All efforts will be made to text/call immediately prior to delivery however.
• Wood chips are the result of chipping branches & smaller diameter logs from our tree trimming operations.  The resulting chipped material varies in texture & size, however can work great for most landscaping purposes.  When the pile first arrives, it will likely contain a substantial amount of green leafy material mixed in - please note that this naturally decomposes & disappears within several weeks. leaving just the chipped wood material behind. 
• Tree species are typically mixed of a large variety in a given load-- we cannot be selective at all in the type you will receive.  We recommend leaving the pile sit for 24 to 48-hours after drop-off to allow the pile's internal heat from decomposing to burn off the majority of insects or mildews that may be present.
• Wood chip delivery is typically provided at no charge, however for a small upcharge, we can provide a prioritized & scheduled delivery.  If your wood chip delivery is urgent, please let us know your desire to pay for a guaranteed delivery.

Free Logs (un-split):

• Wood species vary for our delivered loads, but are primarily comprised of pines, cedars, and poplar/cottonwood.  These are recommended for outdoor use only.
• Hardwoods included in deliveries are typically the larger rounds not able to be hand-loaded onsite, as smaller hardwood logs typically get picked up by neighbors while onsite.
• Most logs are pre-cut into 18" to 24" lengths, ready for you to split.  Log diameters are typically 10-inches & larger, as all smaller "branches" get chipped.
• In select cases where (indoor-burning) hardwood logs cannot be given away from our job site, we then offer those loads for same-day delivery to the nearest location on our wait list.
• Within your request, please indicate any restrictions you have & we will make a note to accommodate.  Obviously however, those who are the most flexible work their way to the top of our wait list much faster.

Free Fill Dirt Material:

• Must take at least (1) full 5-yard dump trailer load. 
• Must be dumped in an easily accessible location, as directed.  We are not responsible for tire ruts or other surface damage to/from the designated location.
• Loads typical consist of a 50/50 mix of excavated clay fill and our composted landscape material.  Some smaller rocks may be present, as this material is not screened.
• Composted material is comprised primarily of excavated wood chips from stump grinding operations, however also includes garden & other landscape waste removed from residential jobsites.
